CREATING THE PERFECT BUSINESS IDEA FOR YOU
The first thing you must do in order to create any business is something you’ve probably done already and that is to envision your financial dreams. You have to dig deep inside your heart and mind and ask yourself, what does financial success mean to me? and how much am I willing to give in order to succeed? Last but not least, When the road gets tuff what am I going to say, do, or think to motivate myself ? When the answers to all of these questions are clear, then, and only then, will you be ready to begin.
The next thing you must realize is something that most people find hard to swallow. If your name isn’t superman or superwoman this process is going to take some TIME and some MONEY! Depending on how fast and resourceful one is, for some less time and/or less money than others. I can guarantee that if this is your first attempt to launch an Internet business you won’t be finished by tomorrow. I can also guarantee that if you follow these steps you will save a lot of time and money realizing your goal of owning and operating an Internet business successfully.
The thought process of beginning a business of any kind begins with the question,WHAT?What do you know a lot about, like to talk about and simply love and feel passionate about? Chances are that someone else or even thousands of people feel the same. When you have pin- pointed this “what,” then you have now located your subject. This is exactly what your site should be about. It could be dogs,cats,the moon,food,cars,etc.Some may ask,“How is a site about movies or lipstick going to earn me money? “. My answer is that any subject has a potential to make money depending on how passionate one is towards it.
Subject Knowledge
Now let’s talk about knowledge. The subject that you choose should be a subject that you are well informed about. You should be more informed on your subject than most people. An example; a teacher cannot teach a student if he or she doesn’t know more about what they are teaching than the student. You want to be an expert on your subject so that your readers will be able to gain something from your content. Your readers will want to find something fresh and new on your website whenever they visit it so your content will need to be updated often. Some websites update their content monthly, biweekly, weekly, daily and sometimes even twice a day. To compete you’ll have to be sure that your subject will have enough content available for you. Sometimes just having a lot of content isn’t enough. Some websites compete strongly with specializing in very special or particular information about a subject. This is called finding a Niche. An example is; you can have a site that’s all about dogs or you can have a site that specializes in dog fitness or dog collars.
Once you have researched your subject by looking at your competitors websites and getting a feel for what their visitors want and/or need, then its time to think about what you can offer that your competitors don´t.The more things you can offer your visitors than your competitor, the better chance they are to visit your site more frequently.
